LuxuryTrainTickets.com is an authorised ticketing agent of journeys and therefore will not make any cancellations directly. Journey cancellations are very rare and are made directly by the operator. LuxuryTrainTickets.com will always inform customers of any cancellations as soon as possible and offer the appropriate refunds or alternative journeys.
No fees will be incurred should an operator cancel a journey.
Customers may make amendments to their journey or even cancel at any time, however there may be fees payable. Any cancellation or amendment must be in writing.
Operators may be required to add additional carriages or add additional journey dates based on demand and order the appropriate quantities of food and drink based on the number of passengers that book. Cancelling or amending your booking may incur a cost to the operator or result in empty seats or cabins on a journey resulting in lost potential earnings, which is why they charge a fee.
Cancellations for any journey regardless of notice will incur a fee of 5% of your total booking. This covers transactional fees payable by LuxuryTrainTickets.com as well as administration charges caused as the result of a cancellation. Cancellation requests must be given in writing by email.
This cancellation fee is payable on top of the operator's own individual fees as outlined below.

We will apply any monies you have already paid to us towards settling any cancellation charge(s) (and to the extent your payments exceed the sum due, we will refund the balance).

The Client is entitled to cancel the Contracts of the Trip at any time before the start of the Trip, but, in this case, the Client shall be required to pay the following indemnification including tax equal to:
- Twenty-five percent (25%) of the price including tax of the Trip in case of cancellation ninety-one days (91) days or more before the departure date
- Fifty percent (50%) of the price including tax (e.g. VAT) of the Trip in case of cancellation between ninety days (90) and thirty-one (31) days before the departure date
- One hundred percent (100%) of the price including tax (e.g. VAT) of the Trip in case of cancellation within thirty (30) days before the departure date.
