After years of meticulous planning and designing, Belmond has finally announced the arrival of the Britannic Explorer. Set to traverse the scenic landscapes of England and Wales, this remarkable train features private cabins, exquisite fine dining and even an onboard spa, all reflecting the high standards of the world’s finest hotels.
The Britannic Explorer will depart from London, offering three-night journeys along three enchanting routes that showcase the stunning natural beauty of Cornwall, The Lake District, and Wales. You can also opt for a 6-night trip.
Each of the 18 cabins on the Britannic Explorer blends sophistication with comfort. The three Grand Suites and 15 Suites have been carefully designed by the acclaimed London-based studio, Albion Nord. Drawing inspiration from the sweeping views of Britain’s rugged coastlines and rolling hills, every detail is a delight for the senses, whether guests are enjoying the privacy of their cabin, unwinding in the onboard spa, or savouring the offerings of the bar and restaurant cars.
The colour palette of the interior draws inspiration from the breathtaking natural world visible through the expansive picture windows, complemented by heritage motifs and playful details, creating an atmosphere that is both tranquil and vibrant.
