DAY FOUR - SEMMERING PASS, LAKE ACHEN & INNSBRUCK

Today's itinerary promises to be one of the most memorable moments of the trip. Our journey commences in Vienna and takes us through central Austria, heading towards the magnificent Alps. Be sure to have your cameras at the ready to capture the stunning views as we ascend the Semmering Pass, which boasts 16 viaducts and 15 tunnels. Our route will lead us through the charming skiing village of Kitzbuhel before arriving at Jenbach for lunch. Afterwards, take a scenic drive to the idyllic Lake Achen (Achensee) for a picturesque cruise on the water.

Next, travel by bus a short distance to Innsbruck, the capital of Austria's western state of Tyrol. This Alpine city is renowned for its Imperial and modern architecture, as well as its reputation as a winter sports destination. Make sure to catch the Nordkette funicular, which features futuristic stations designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid, as it climbs up to 2,256 meters from the city centre for breathtaking bird's eye views of the surrounding alpine terrain.

DAY FIVE - ZURICH

Enjoy the stunning scenery of Vorarlberg as we cross through St. Anton and venture through Liechtenstein before arriving in Switzerland. Marvel at the breathtaking view of the entire Lake of Zürich as we make our way to the city, a global hub for finance and banking located at the north end of the lake. Stroll the charming lanes of the central Altstadt (Old Town) and take in the city's pre-medieval history, reflected in its architecture. Promenades along the Limmat River, like the Limmatquai, lead to the 17th-century Rathaus (Town Hall). A traditional Swiss fondue tasting awaits you in the city, making for a memorable experience.
