This experience is deeply moving and offers the rare opportunity to reflect on the atrocities that took place in the Second World War.

As you cross the Vistula River, admire the unique cityscape made up of skyscrapers and the bright red roofs of the Old Town - an exquisite blend of classic and modern architecture.

Today's guided tour takes you along the Royal Route of the Old Town before heading into the area of the former Warsaw Ghetto. The Old Town is filled with character and charm - with colourful houses and winding narrow lanes. After a relaxed walking tour, enjoy a traditionally Polish lunch at the Belvedere Restaurant, situated in the centre of the Royal Łazienki Park.

Your next experience of the day is a truly special one - a private Chopin piano recital in a beautiful palace in the park.

The day ends with dinner and drinks on the train.

DAY TEN - SALZBURG

Exploring Salzburg: A Journey through History and Culture

Embark on an unforgettable trip through Salzburg, starting with a visit to the stunning Mirabell Palace. This baroque palace, built in the 17th century, is located in the heart of the city and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's also known for its appearance in the classic film, The Sound of Music.

Just a short distance away from the palace is Market Square (Marketplatz), where you will get a glimpse of the former Mozart Residence, now a museum. From there, you'll cross the Makartsteg bridge into the Old Town and stroll along the Getreidegasse – Salzburg's most famous street. It's renowned for its wrought-iron trade signs and is the birthplace of Mozart.

Your journey continues to Hellbrunn Palace, which has been enchanting visitors for over 400 years with its whimsical "trick" fountains. Located in the south of Salzburg, this palace was a summer retreat for the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg. Its baroque exterior is nothing compared to the exuberant interior, which was designed for entertaining. However, the real highlight of the palace is the trick fountain (Wasserspiele) in the gardens that shoots water from unexpected places.
